Patricia is a fundraising strategy and management consultant with a wealth of experience in the arts and heritage sectors, as well as with education and vocational training organisations. Her background in revenue and capital fundraising enables her to offer clients a wide range of skills and understanding. She began her career in the development department of English National Opera and has held executive roles at the Aldeburgh Festival (now Britten-Pears Arts) and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

 In 2002 Patricia moved into consultancy and in 2008 formed Creative Consulting.  She works independently, or in association with other consultants with complementary strengths and specialisms. As well as delivering revenue fundraising strategies and capital campaigns, and offering support with fundraising feasibilities and audits, she has created content, and delivered training, for capital campaigns, major gift fundraising and stewardship, for staff and trustees.

Leo Crane is a Major Gift fundraiser who specialises in developing Cases for Support and finding creative ways of telling fundraising stories. For 15 years, he worked inhouse at the V&A, Royal Institute of British Architects and Dulwich Picture Gallery where he built long-term relationships with philanthropists, successfully leading major giving campaigns and establishing Patrons and American Friends programmes. As Head of Major Gifts at the V&A he was instrumental in the success of the £120m FuturePlan campaign, securing numerous six and seven figure gifts. As a consultant, recent projects include support for the British Library in developing their £100m capital campaign, and advising Lakeland Arts, Cumbria, on securing regional and national support for Abbot Hall.

In 2016, Leo co-founded creative studio Figuration. He works with clients in cultural and creative industries to develop compelling stories and articulate their Case for Support across print, digital and live events.

Liz is an independent prospect researcher who has worked with a range of not-for-profit clients including higher education, arts and heritage, environment and conservation, international development, and health and social welfare charities.

Liz’s previous roles include Client Development Director at Christie’s, Acting Chief Executive of the Kew Foundation, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, where she had been Head of Knowledge Management; Head of UK consultancy for Factary, a fundraising research firm, and Head of Research at the V&A. She has provided prospect research leadership which has informed and guided major capital campaigns which have included the £31 million British Galleries campaign and the £75 million FuturePlan campaign at the V&A, and the £100 million Breathing Planet campaign at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.

Philippa is a specialist in Membership and loyalty schemes and Trust & Foundation bid writing.  She spent 16 years as Head of Friends and Patrons at the V&A Museum, developing their membership, legacy, and annual appeals programmes.  During that time membership increased to over 64,000 from 18,000 and income increased by over 800%.  Since 2016 Philippa has worked as a freelance consultant, focusing on advising clients on membership strategy and implementation, legacy strategies, and Trust & Foundation fundraising.  Her clients include Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park, the British Trust for Ornithology, the Museum of Wood, Leicester City of Sanctuary and Leicester Cathedral.

Philippa is a trustee of two Huguenot charities, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.  In 2013/14 she was the Museums Consortium Fellow on the Clore Leadership Programme.

Martin is the founder/director of Culture Consultants, a boutique consultancy business working with cultural institutions to develop transformative strategies for loyalty and fundraising, audience engagement, revenue generation, and customer relationship management (CRM).

Martin has over 25 years’ experience in cultural industries with consistent achievements in building loyalty and revenues. He is a leader of organisational change management with whole organisation view, working strategically but with deep insight into operational requirements. He has extensive experience of working internationally with multiple stakeholders across teams, with an audience focus and deep experience of using customer data to drive CRM and revenue strategies.

He devised and directed comprehensive change management, customer relationship and revenue generating strategies at Tate and at MCA Australia. At Tate he devised and implemented the strategy to create Europe’s largest and most profitable venue-based membership scheme.

He is also a Trustee of the Henry Moore Foundation and HMF Enterprises Ltd.
