A personal approach
I established my consultancy business in 2016 after more than 20 years in senior fundraising roles in major arts organisations including English National Ballet, English National Opera, Somerset House Trust, V&A, Tate and the British Film Institute. I have experience in all areas of revenue and capital fundraising with a specialism in corporate fundraising and commercial partnerships.
As Development Director at ENB, ENO and Somerset House Trust, I introduced new strategies, tripling revenue income at each organisation. At ENB I managed the building project for their new home in east London while leading their £40m capital campaign, securing seven figure lead gifts. At the V&A, and previously at Tate, I introduced a number of innovative commercial partnerships with technology, luxury and consumer brands, securing six and seven figure sponsorships that contributed to the V&A’s FuturePlan transformation and to the campaign around the opening of Tate Modern in 2000.
I am a regular trainer on Arts Council England’s Arts Fundraising & Philanthrophy programme, and am a Trustee of the Gate Theatre in Notting Hill and immersive theatre company, Punchdrunk.
